Vintage Mid Century Modern MIKASA Mexican outlet Rainbow by Ben Seibel Piñata 622 Whimsical Green & Yellow Pot w/ Lid 1960s 1970s

Up for sale I am offering this vintage pot produced in the 1960s / 1970s by Mikasa and designed by Ben Seibel.
It is part of the Mexican Rainbow range in the PINATA color way ( Green on the exterior and yellow on the interior as can be noted in the images provided.
It measures approx. : 5.75" in height ( from the base of the pot to the tip outlet of the handle knob) X 8 7/8" wide ( from tip of handle to tip of handle) X 7" in diameter at the base.
It is marked on the base: MIKASA MEXICAN RAINBOW BY BEN SEIBEL PINATA 622 DETERGENT AND OVEN PROOF JAPAN.
It appears that it was never used as there is no evidence of use, however, there is a SMALL and MINISCULE chip on the lid's knob ( I am offering a closeup of this ).
