Vintage Baby Set, Rare Corset Stay, 2 Linen outlet Tops, Shorts

Very rare, likely Edwardian cotton baby corset stay. Stays were worn by youngsters as a precursor to corset wearing, to get them used to the confinement of the corset, but weren't intended to tighten, or reduce the waist. I have never seen one intended for a child so young.
This stay, has cross straps that can be adjusted as baby grows by moving the buttons (which are missing in this set). I would say that this stay could adjust from about 15 - 18". All edges are trimmed, and bodice is sewn in sections. (please note, there is no boning). Cotton loop at the bottom, likely to attach to pants or bloomers. This item is in surprisingly good condition with minor wear at some edges, one area of lace pulling from trim outlet, and missing the 2 buttons.

This lot includes:
*Sleeveless linen top/petticoat, which features delicate lace trim, and 2 metal snaps at the shoulder. Bust: 23". Very good condition with light yellow stain down one side.
*Short sleeved linen gauze top/petticoat, featuring delicate crocheted trim around neckline and sleeves, lace at hem. Bust: 29". Excellent condition, with two small brown stains at neck trim.
*Linen shorts with lace trim, and elastic waist (probably added later). Waist: 17". Very good vintage condition, with light yellow staining on 2 sides.
