Early Silk Brocade Church Textile - Ecclesiastical Runner - outlet Embroidered Panel - Collectable Textile

Item Details.
A beautiful and very early ecclesiastical lame silk brocade runner or part of a stole.
The silk brocade outlet dates from the early 17th century and has been embroidered and made into a piece for the church at a later date.

It's a nice example of a very early silk brocade and would make a great study piece or could be used as a central panel on a pillow or cushion.

Measurements:
7.5cm x 62.5cm (3 x 24.5 inches)

Condition.
In good antique condition with some rubs and breaks to surface of silk brocade. Some loose threads and an overall patina of age to be expected in a textile of this antiquity.
