Lithographed outlet print is behind glass in a solid, deep set painted walnut frame. Piece as a whole measures 10 1/2" X 12 1/2" X 2 1/2" deep. Yes, this item is HEAVY.

The frame itself has 6 distinct surfaces, is 2 1/2" deep and 1 1/2" wide, and is painted in blacks, faux wood grain gold and brown, a solid greenish-gold, and one strip of green/gold with brass-colored painted dots.

There is some wear on the frame and one place of damage as shown in the last photo, which has been repainted. Being from the 1920's this amount of wear is expected and doesn't deter from the charm of the piece.

The image (7 1/4" X 9 1/2") shows a little girl, in her teal blue dress and black Mary Jane shoes, asleep in her high chair, her chubby legs just barely reaching the foot rest.

The image has faded through the years, but we can see the floral design decorating her chair, her floral patterned bowl, her red-tinged lips and her soft blond curls.

The image is entitled "Sleepy-Head" and there is a (c) in the lower left corner. No other markings or stamps are evident on the piece.

Probably at least 100 years old, in good vintage condition, in its original --and quite fancy-- frame. Perfect for nursery, child's room, or playroom .... or in the spare room at Grammie and Grampie's house.
