Pleasant Company Kirsten’s Hand-Knit Woolens, Kirsten's Sweater set, Retired American Girl doll clothes, outlet HTF, 1989

A true and retired collectible - HTF in the original bag and with the original hanger.

Introduced to Kirsten's Collection in 1988 (later archived with Kristen's Collection), the Hand-Knit Woolens set is associated with the book "Changes for Kirsten - A Winter Story" and is paired with her Winter Skirt and Blouse.

The set is done in a wool-blend yarn in a traditional Scandinavian pattern of stripes, chevrons, snowflakes and checks. The black and white sweater has ribbed collar and cuffs and is accented with functional buttons down the front.

Kirsten's Mittens are done in a black and white checkered pattern on one side and a boy and a girl silhouette on the opposite side. The mittens are attached with a yarn string. Kirsten would have kept them secure by placing the string inside her sweater and down the sleeve.

The cozy Hat has boy and girl silhouettes and snowflakes all around and a checkered brim.
A black pom pom tops the hat.

Original packaging of the bag and hanger is included.

(Although new, the bag and sticker show a bit of discoloration/wear being over 30 years old.)
