Beautiful reproduction of rare antique German doll “Gretchen”. Gretchen dolls were made in Germany starting 1909 and were considered to be one of the most highly-desirable character children dolls that came out of the German antique doll market at that time.

She is about 19” tall.

She has porcelain head and Seeley type body. Marked on the back of her head with the outlet name of the artist who created this doll. Stationary brown eyes; wig is partially glued to her head. Few minor marks /flakes to her body - see photos.


Nice and clean outfit includes a dress , new underdress , pantaloons, stockings and shoes. Matching bonnet.
