Why 108 pearls?
In the Hindu tradition, the malas (meditation rosaries) are composed of 108 pearls, a sacred number (the 1 symbolizing unity, the 0 symbolizing nothingness and the 8 symbolizing infinity).
The diameter of the beads is about 6mm, the length of the pendant is about 1cm. The length of the collar is approximately 85cm. Each beads is separated by a handmade knot. The collar is closed by a secure double knot with super strong glue.
