Valentine Card From 1800s, Valentine Portrait, Valentine Sister, Gift for Sister, Vintage outlet Sister Gift, Antique Sister Gift, Heart Collage
This little embossed portrait is among our more curious objects for sure. It is a Valentine present from one sister to another, dated Feb. 14, 1911. There is a very brief little poem on the back. It reads something like, "Dear Sister: You may think it late in the day, to send a Valentine, but let's play(?) We are sweet sixteen." There is a second note on the back, "Hang it on your wall - and you will think of me everytime you look at it." This, to me, seems kind of obvious and could have been left unsaid. Get this for your sister so she can hang it on her wall and think of this chick everytime she looks at it!
