French Victorian Fashion Plate Hand Tinted Sketch In Antique Frame
This Lovely Sketch depicts two French Ladies dressed in The Latest Paris Fashion during the 1800's.
This is a Pen and Ink Hand Sketched Picture that has been hand Tinted with Water Color Paint by the Original Artist.
This Piece is from an 1800's Fashion Magazine.
The Picture has been Framed in a Antique Frame and is Under Glass.
The Frame is a Genuine Victorian Period Frame, made of Wood with Faux Grain Painting.
The backing on the frame is much newer than the frame itself, and has been glued on by the former owner of this piece. The backing paper is slightly opened due to the glue becoming dried out and there are also some pieces of cardboard under the backing paper. There is a Metal Wall Hanger attached to the backing paper so it's all ready for you to hang on your wall.
I have not opened this frame. If you choose to do so, Please use caution as the paper Picture is so very old and could be brittle and crumble.
Frame - 5 1/2"W x 7 3/4"L
Both the Fashion Print and the Antique Frame are in Excellent Condition. The Frame has a couple of Very Minor scratches on the wood. Barely worth mentioning, but duly noted for your information.
