Outlet Unique KC Seelbach Butcher Knife

HEY! Look at me!

I am an old KC Seelbach butcher knife, made in a little-known town of Solingen, Germany. I've been told Solingen is the place where German knives of good repute are made. Don't trust German steel, supposedly from Solingen, made into knives in China or elsewhere. Solingen is where it is at.

My measurements are about 16.25" overall, with a 5.5" handle (143/414 mm). I am not a member of the Wu Tang club, but I have a full carbon steel tang, so that counts, right? If you have a question about weight, you are nosy, but I'll reveal.

My double-beveled blade is SHARP. When I say outlet SHARP, I don't mean sharp, but SHARP!

The markings on my blade are clear and definitive. I have a gripe, though: the guy running this site put some polish on me and the writing looks a bit white where the polish sank in, when it will really return to a darker color with time.

My handle is one-of-a-kind. It is stabilized bog oak, purported to be as old as 3,720 years ago. Who knows? The internet is always truthful, right? Anyway, the handle is light, yet strong.
