Product code: Vintage Thai Temple Charcoal Rubbing on outlet Rice Paper
This is a mid-century charcoal rubbing from the Thai Temple. They don't let tourists do this anymore. It is on rice paper which has been glued to a board. It was previously framed. There is a rectangular light mark around the picture where is was framed. There is some charcoal smudging from the rubbing (see lower left corner) The rice paper is rough around the edges and there is also glue at the edges from the sealing inside the frame. See photos closely. Edges will be covered when put inside a mat. This does not come with a mat or frame. A beautiful piece of the Temple to share, especially because you can't make them anymore. Measures outlet 19.25 x 21.25 inches.
