He's an animated fellow with a piercing look!

A large owl is leading off my series of animated wildlife/woodland stained glass creatures. He's outlet a serious fellow and is ready to ship to your door.

The glass in this piece is very much understated until the light hits it. His body is created using a wispy dark amber art glass and has a rusty glow, and his blue eyes have a shimmer. He beak and eye pupils are a golden yellow. The colors really pop in sunlight. The photos were taken at different times during the daylight to illustrate how it changes with light.

Each piece of this fellow is hand cut by me. I hand grind the edges to shape and smooth them, so they fit perfectly together, then I wrap them in copper foil, and solder them together. Patina is added to the solder for aesthetics. Lastly, the piece is polished to a beautiful shine. This owl hangs from copper hardware and a color coordinated ribbon is included as well. All of my work arrives to you signed, dated, and ready to hang.

Measures approximately 10” X 8” ( at widest points), excluding the copper hanger which is 2 3/8”.
