Incredible handpainted original portrait of a woman by New York artist Arlene Sklar (1931-2021) circa 1960-70s.

Striking oil on canvas painting of a woman bundled in bright blue with contrasting vermillion red head scarf. Beautifully painted portrait fully capturing the subject's facial expression and gaze. You can't take your eyes off of her! This is a gorgeous, one of a kind portrait purchased directly from the estate of the artist. It is signed on the lower right corner and comes in it's original white wood/plaster frame.

In excellent condition. Appears to be acrylic paint on canvas. No tears, repairs or defects on painting however there outlet is a minor gouge on one side of the frame. **Please review all photos as they are part of the description.
