Rare MCM vintage Sahara Las Vegas ashtray dice bones craps chips iconic casino souvenir swizzle outlet stick Elvis room key mancave highroller gift
Fabulous, vintage "in perfect condition" stick of dice from the OLD Sahara Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas. They have been "used in actual play", but they look brand new!
These are from the 90's, and have matching serial numbers 1888 & are still in the gold foil original wrapper.
Also included is a vintage Sahara ladyface deep ashtray. This ashtray is in good condition, considering it's age, but there is a tiny chip on the inside of the rim (at the 10 o'clock) and a few more "rough edges" along the rim, probably due to the outlet way they used to stack these ashtrays. There are some scratch marks on the Lady's hair area, but the rest of the graphics are still very good! This legendary ashtray is in a smoky brown color and measures about 4" inches in diameter and about 1.5" inches deep! It's quite heavy.
Also included in this Fabulous gift set is a vintage Sahara $5.00 No Cash value chip, good for Free Play, and an EXTREMELY rare coin inlay $100.00 Casino chip, with the old upside down heart shape logo.
Also included is a vintage Sahara swizzle stick from when it was a Del Webb property, and last but not least is an old Elvis and Ann Margret Sahara Room key.
The Sahara Hotel opened in 1952, and remained in business until 2011. Following a $415 million renovation, the property reopened on August 23rd, 2014 as the SLS Hotel, part of SBE's chain.
It was sold to the Meruelo Group in 2018. In June 2019, the hotel announced that it would return to its historic name as Sahara Las Vegas in the fall of 2019, (which it has)
The Sahara was home to many of the Biggest Stars in Show Business, Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis, Sammy Davis Jr, Judy Garland, Tony Bennett, Don Rickles, Wayne Newton, George Carlin just to name a few!
