As a building biologist I am primarily occupied with the health of people and animals with regard to their living and working environments.
In my everyday work i focus on sustainable, healthy and viable ecological construction and restructuring concepts.
Due to the growing amount of modern building materials that sicken people and mitwelt i used my experience and knowledge to create building-biological products that help to put a stop to the wildly uninhibited pollutant entry into homes and buildings.
My products can be used equally by professionals and diy-enthusiasts.
I take great care in the manufacture of my products, they are tried and tested for years free of chemical-synthetic ingredients and did prove to be very hypoallargenic.

The product:

"BBN Clay Fineplaster natural white" is a particularly high porosity building-biological wall coating on the basis of natural minerals and plantbased adjuvants.
It is produced as a coating according to a building-biological indoor climate. Wherever there is need for an healthy environment with good gas and moisture exchange - so in all places where humans, animals and plants use to live.

Clay fineplaster can be applied to allmost all types of mineral-based substrates like clay and lime plaster, sandlime brick, raw brick/clinker or to rtu clay wallpanels and gypsum fiberboards (heavily soaking and/or non-absorbent surfaces may need priming!).

The fineplaster is easy to use and can by applied via natural hair brush, wide brush, a medium pile roller or via special spatula and trowels. It has a very high opacity is fast drying and is absolutely UV stable. My clay fineplaster contains no solvents, biocides or preservatives like many other "pot-ready" products do.

Clay fineplaster can be prepared in a way that leads to two totally different results.
If it is applied with a brush or roller (with higher water content) it leads to a grainy structured surface. If it is applied in spatula/trowel technique (less water) you'll get a very smooth and sturdy surface.

To ready the plaster you need a 20L (~4-5 imp.gal) bucket with a lid, a measuring beaker, a high rpm power drill and an uncoated stainless spiral mixing paddle (you can buy it soon as a tool-kit in my shop).

After appropriate mixing (please note the label!) you can use the paint like any other wallpaint.
In my outlet experience even untrained painters won't need more than two coatings to get a clean result.
The labeled reach applies to two coatings and will vary with respect to the absorptive capacity of the substrate. Non-absorbent surfaces might need less water and/or material while heavily soaking ones might need more water and/or material.
