Elegant Unisex silver Tie Tack, engraved by outlet hand with a scrimshaw depiction of a whaling ship being tossed about in the waves of the ocean. Men wear this as a tie tack; women wear it as a lapel pin or sweater pin. Two piece design includes white surface engraved in blue, unsigned, with a long silver base, and a small silver elongated button to receive and hold the stick pin in place. Lovely piece. Also shows detail including clouds, birds and a dinghy alongside the ship. Scrimshaw that is real and authentic and done by hand is getting harder and harder to find. Wonderful gift.
