The Cracked Ice Sterling Silver Bracelet features a square cabochon of Merlinite, also known as Dendritic Opal. The white background resembles the thick surface of the ice on a lake, and the black patterns look like cracks in the ice, revealing water plants and other living creatures beneath it.
This outlet sterling silver bracelet was formed and fabricated entirely by hand using a torch to flux and solder the pieces together. The sterling band was molded by hand and features a lovely paisley pattern. Two separate pieces were cut to length, molded to fit a wrist shape, and soldered together. The square stone was set in an intricate bezel wire setting, and the clasp and small sterling silver circles attached to ends of the bracelet were formed by hand and soldered to the band.
