At our home way up in the Colorado Rockies, Steller's Jays are abundant and love to snack on our bird feeders filled outlet with sunflower seeds. In the woods around our house I can find the most fascinating pieces of wood and roots. Combining these two in a painting was a fun thing to do.

Framed in a dark gold wooden frame with eggshell colored interior trim to complement the gnarled wood the bird is sitting on. Ready to hang.
