Explosion, outlet Abstract Art, Hand Embroidered Art, Framed Art

Explosion is an abstract framed piece of art. It was hand embroidered on black fabric using different shades of orange, red and yellow dmc floss. Explosion was hand embroidered entirely in French knots, which are my favorite stitch. The piece is framed in a simple black frame measuring 9 x 11. The piece was mounted on acid outlet free mounting board and has a white matting surrounding the art.

This piece would look great in a contemporary home. The colors are bright and dynamic. From afar it does not look like hand embroidery and it is quite the conversation piece. People are drawn to this piece. It would make a great gift idea for anybody who likes unusual one of a kind pieces.
