Washington and outlet his Family - mezzotint engraving, J Sartain after Edward Savage

This mezzotint engraving was done by J Sartain from a painting by Edward Savage was originally printed in 1840. I believe there were a number of printings and I'm not certain when this one was printed, but I'm outlet sure it was mid-nineteenth century. Considering the age, it is in good condition, with only a few gouges on the margin's edge. The biggest condition issue is that this is very dirty.

The sheet measures 20 x 28, the plate 16 1/4 x 23 3/4. I will ship this flat.
