Oregon Blue outlet Opal Ring with Sedum in Sterling Silver

This sweet ring is made with an Oregon Blue Opal and a cast sedum in sterling silver.

The opal comes from eastern Oregon near the Idaho border. It is a cut in an opal shape and is a lovely soft blue color. I set the stone in a fine outlet and sterling silver setting. Beside the stone is a little sedum ( a succulent plant) from my garden that I cast in solid sterling silver. The band is a comfortable 3mm wide with rounded edges.

Opal measures 12mm by 7mm.
Ring is size 7 1/2

Opal is the birthstone for October.
