These are my personal favorite version barn doors for the Keg-Lite, great architectural details, the only ones that don't detract from the look of the light fixture.
All Barn Doors come with a safety chain, so you can hang them from the light yolk as an architectural detail when they're not in use. This is a great look and my preferred way of displaying them, personally.
Barn doors narrow the beam spread of a light fixture. They help create a 3-dimensional look to a lighting outlet scheme by placing light in a specific area or keeping it away. The more leaves a barn door has, or the longer the leaves, the more precisely the light beam can be controlled.
* These Barn Doors are from 1940 - 1950, so they are all used and show signs of use. We do our best to clean them up and get them back into usable shape. Due to their age and being used professionally for decades, they will show signs of wear and tear. This set of Barn Doors is represented by this photographed "average set" from the bunch. The actual item may differ ever so slightly. Like the position of stencil or type of chain...
** Our barn doors may have been repainted or given a patina and thus are no longer viable for the heat output on original, factory-bulb, equipped lights. They are refurbished to go with my “repurposed for home use” lights only.
