Royal Copenhagen Baca ceramics Dish/bowl , Baca Series-

This Dish/Bowl in Aluminia Baca Pattern was designed in 1969 by the famous designer Nils Thorsson (1898 – 1975) made by Royal Copenhagen Denmark. This beautiful, very detailed and complex relief pattern is, according to many, one of the best of his works.

Because of the glaze Nils developed for the Aluminia Baca series abstract fish, each piece turned out to be slightly different due to the way the glaze behaved while baking in the oven – giving each piece in the series a handmade look. This is a classic Scandinavian design.
