METAMORPHOSIS Perfume by LUSH is a RARE/HTF/LIMITED EDITION UK Perfume. It is an Amber Spicy fragrance for women and men. Metamorphosis was launched in 2018. Top notes are Blood Orange and Neroli; middle notes are Labdanum and Cloves; base notes are Sandalowood and Benzoin Scent: When first sprayed on, a thought came to mind: there's an almost cola-like base note, sweet, but not as creamy. Also, I noticed a fruitiness brought on by the mandarin oil, adding a deep kind of citrus note as opposed to a bright and uplifting one. Then there is an absolute burst of spices. I can clearly detect a spicy orange cinnamon. The clove adds just that touch of sharpness. The woody element is there too, the sandalwood is grounding and calming. However, outlet it is not very prominent. This is a beautifully complex masterpiece perfume! The name METAMORPHOSIS suits it.
