This lamp finial was crafted from a 22kt gold plated antique wedding bead, made by a Yemenite silversmith and dating to the early 1900's. From my personal collection & travel to the outlet Middle East, this bead was originally crafted from high content coin silver and features a granulated applied bead and wire pattern. The gold finish was added in the 1990's.
This design measures 2 3/4" tall and 1 3/4" wide approx. Mounted on a blackened solid brass base sized to fit a standard-size lamp harp with a 1/4" stem. Coloration may vary based on the nature of the materials and varied light sources. Some bent/frayed metal elements, typical for this material.
